I am thrilled with the way this came out!!!! The heart is handmade from painted osnaberg that we grubbied in our special spice mixture to make it look like a beeswax pantry cake. We tied some aged cheesecloth around it, added a sprig of sweet annie, and pinned on a prim tag that reads 1849. Perfect to set on an old cutting board on your kitchen counter with some heart cookie cutters, a flour ditty bag, and a rolling pin. You could also set these in a crock filled with antique utensils or set in a trencher on your island filled with other pantry cakes, The heart measures approximatey 8"hX7"w.
