These make great bowl fillers. This is something they  would have collected back in the colonial days during the summer months and stock piled for the cold winter nights. These bundles are made with dried corn husks, twigs, and pine needles. They would have used these to start their fires and light their lanterns during the Winter months. Toss these in an old dough bowl on your island, end table or cupbaord.
