This makedo mortar is handmade from a piece of barn beam that we chiseled out and added legs to. The pestle is made from a piece of tobacco stick. We filled the mortar with some grubby corn. Set this on your counter, island, or dough board. The mortar measures 7 1/2lX4 1/2"dX4 1/4"h.
