I love these old sacks!! I have a bunch all over my kitchen. I have some hanging from peg racks and a couple in an old wire basket on my counter. This bag is handmade from our aged osnaberg material and measures 9"wX9"h. We whipstitched a patch onto the front of the sack that reads "roots" and stuffed the sack. We then added an osnaberg tie. Set this on your counter next to a jar filled with dried pumpkin slices or on your island in a shallow trencher with an old chopper and a crock filled with spoons and other old tools.
