I loved this piece so much I made one for myself!!! It is handmade from our recycled lumber and stained a dark walnut. The shelf measures 19"hX11"wX4 1/2"d. You can display a small round or oblong bowl in the shelf and hang sone dried floral bunches or some old cookie cutters from the pegs. I have it in my house as shown.. with an old rolling pin, some wooden paddles, a flour sack towel and a sprig of sweet annie. You can really use this in any room of your home. You could store magazines in it or you could place a small wash board in the base and string some old clothes pins to use as a garland hung from the nails.
