This is a great piece for any room of the home. This shelf is hand made from or recycled barnwood and measures 19"hX8"wX3 3/4"d. We have painted the shelf mustard and then distressed it with a dark walnut finish. We have it displayed here for a kitchen/dining room with a cutting board and cheese cutter in the bottom and some gadgets on the top shelf. You could use this in a powder room with some lye soap on the shelf or a shaving cup and brush. You could display a rolled up towel in the bottom cubby with an old tin or tall box. Will also work in a family room with a pair of tall tapers or a battery candle in the bottom and a ditty bag on the shelf. you could also display some old books int he bottom and a pair of old glasses on the shelf.
