corn husk pot scrubbers

We just got a new batch of corn husks in and decided to try something new. We took some of our recycled lumber, cut it into 4"squares, drilled some holes into it, and stained it dark walnut. We then twisted some corn husks into the holes and there you have it...pot scrubbers. I just love trying to replicate things I see in old prim magazines. They never threw anything away in the Colonial days. Everything was reused or repurposed. Set one of these next to your sink in a box or basket along with some old lye soap and a flour sack towel.
